England have been drawn against Croatia and the Czech Republic in the group stages, as well as one more side from the play-off games still to be decided.

But Southgate knows the real test of England's credentials will come against the likes of France, Holland, Belgium and Spain, and has been keen to do as much homework as possible on these four powerhouses.
