Steve Walsh, one of the intelligence behind Leicester City’s title victory, has a new job in the US. The former City assistant manager and head of recruitment, responsible for bringing the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, and N’Golo Kante to the club, has been employed as a special adviser at a new MLS side in Charlotte.

 Walsh has been employed as a consultant on management and recruitment, charged with scouting and identifying players and a head coach to help prepare the new franchise for their debut campaign in 2021. Walsh left City for Everton in 2016 after the Premier League title win. Previously he worked as a scout for Chelsea and Newcastle.
