Premier League: 6 Players out of Contract in June that Chelsea could look at
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Premier League
season right now, whether it will just be void, or continue to stay suspended. But
my view is that the only result is to void the season, exclusively with the
Coronavirus outbreak set to peak before it gets better.

With that said, there will still need to be a lot of
decisions made in regards to player contracts, etc. But effectively, many of
the players on the list below could have played their last games for their
clubs. There are a few players out of the contract that may well take Chelsea’s
eye, especially factoring in that they will need to replace Willy Caballero as the
backup goalkeeper, as well as two regular first-team wingers.
Ben Foster of Watford would be a good shout for the backup
keeper role. He is two years younger than Caballero, still playing regular PL
football, bags of experience, and a former England international. John Ruddy of
Wolves or even Joe Hart from Burnley could also be options for this role. But
who else could Chelsea consider?
Well, they have been linked with signing Bournemouth winger
Ryan Fraser quite a lot recently, and he is out of contract in the summer. But
this is pretty doubtful unless they see him as a backup player to bulk out the
attacking areas.
Then there are Spurs skilled center-back Jan Vertonghen who
would fit the type of protector that Frank Lampard wants to bring in. A strong
leader-type who is good in the air as well as on the ball. Manchester United’s
exciting young talent Angel Gomes is yet to sign a new deal and Chelsea are
rumored to be interested in bringing him in, this could be quite likely.
But that is probably it from the English leagues anyway,
there are a lot more players out of contract around Europe they might consider.
Here is every Premier League player out of contract this June and free to
leave.
