England Euro Cup: Phil Neville Will Gather A 30-Strong England Squad for September Training Camp
England Women's head coach Phil Neville has called a 30-player squad for the Lionesses’ September exercise camp at St. George’s Park, signaling the start of a long-term build to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.

Amongst the players getting their first
senior call-ups are protectors Lotte Wubben-Moy, Millie Turner, and Esme
Morgan, midfielders Niamh Charles, Ella Toone, and Katie Zelem, and forward
Rinsola Babajide who have all before featured in the growth set up in recent
years.
It's wanted that the younger group members
will advantage from the knowledge of the core senior internationals and deliver
strong rivalry for places as the Lionesses shape to the approaching major contests.
Due to isolation limits in place for travelers from sure countries, a small
number of senior players who ply their skill at foreign bats have not been comprised
in September’s side.
“This is a dangerous moment in our growth
of England Women," supposed Neville.
Every camp from now on is aimed at building
a team capable of competing for the highest honors in world football, including
the prestigious home EURO in 2022 and, ultimately, the FIFA Women’s World Cup
in 2023. We must offer as many opportunities as possible for some of the
country’s best young talent to stake their claim for a place in the senior
England squad for this exciting three-year period.
All of the new talent who have been given
their chance today are very deserving of their senior call-ups, having done powerfully
at club level and through England’s development squads. Now is their chance to
prove themselves at senior international level and I'm happy to see the blend
of youthful drive and senior knowledge.
Presenting better rivalry for places and if
opportunities for young players to grow is key to taking England Women to the
next level as we start the long build to the home EURO and FIFA Women’s World
Cup. The Lionesses will encounter up on Tuesday 15 September for an intensive exercise
camp at their Burton base. The seven-day camp will also include a 11v11
training game behind closed doors on Friday 18 September.
